We are looking to hire a Junior Front End Developer for a part time and/or full time position with the following qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Front-end developer
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS
- Strong knowledge of Javascript/Typescript
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
- An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
- BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field will be considered (plus)
- Javascript frameworks such as Angular2+ (plus)
- Experience building mobile-first websites in a responsive framework like Bootstrap (plus)
- Experience collaborating with a design team to build out mockups and wireframes (plus)
Primary Responsibilities
- Translate requirements and design mockups into fully functioning websites using HTML/CSS/JS
- Ability to write structured, well-organized, and reusable code
- Inspect and troubleshoot bugs and other QA issues
- Continuously look for ways to improve code quality and client’s projects
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
